Agni
Asana

Agni is a Sanskrit word meaning fire and this practice is all about building internal fire. This (symbolic) fire is important for physical and mental wellbeing. Building Agni is beneficial for digestion and strengthening abdominal muscles as well as improving focus, endurance and enthusiasm for life. It can also help to energetically ‘burn’ away and purify things that we no longer need.
This class will use a combination of pranayama (breath-work) and asana (yoga poses) to heat up the body and build core strength. You can enjoy this practice on its own or warm up with sun salutations.
Props needed: Yoga mat, one yoga block.
