17m
Practice Length: 17:35
Props: Yoga Mat
The Sanskrit word Surya means 'sun' and Namaskar stems means 'to bow to' or 'to adore' and is essentially a prayer in motion to the sun - the ultimate source of life and energy. Sun salutations are a great way to start your day and should be performed in the morning on an empty stomach, However, they can be performed at any time of the day if mornings aren't available to you. The practice of Surya Namaskar A & B improves strength and flexibility of the muscles and warms up the entire body which is why we often see them at the beginning of a yoga practice.
All you require is a yoga mat, so roll it out and enjoy the view.
